Guardian is seeking a Human Resources Talent Partner (“HRTP”) Leader for our growing Individual Markets business. This is a strategic HR role that requires strong consultative skills to facilitate culture change and build leadership capability.
This role requires the HRTP to execute on many facets of the talent strategy, demonstrating the ability to solve problems, coach leaders through difficult situations and change, while tracking and monitoring changes and progress in the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic thought leader for respective client groups within the Individual Markets organization. Provide trusted consultation and thought leadership to leaders and their teams and develop and implement talent strategies both short and long-term.
- Anticipate future organization and talent requirements and in partnership with leaders, make actionable organization design recommendations to enable the business to achieve its objectives while leveraging organizational talent.
- Design and implement retention strategies focusing on key leaders and individuals with core competencies or skills critical to the organization – now and for the future.
- Develop effective leaders within the organization, focusing on leadership needs and key themes identified as part of talent discussions; creating strategies to close talent gaps, develop bench strength for succession and talent management.
- Support the leadership team through deployment of change management strategies and communication plans as the business grows and evolves.
- Establish and monitor organization and talent metrics aligned that align with the business strategy.
- Recommend solutions to improve processes, team dynamics, etc. to optimize organizational effectiveness.
- Coach leaders on their personal efficacy and leadership impact.
- Maintain an effective level of business literacy to be able to substantively contribute to the success of the business.
- Leverage enterprise and HR Center of Excellence (COE) resources to bring comprehensive HR solutions to the business.
Salary Range:
$151,950.00 - $249,630.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
