✔️ Railway Technician Grade III
Posts: Pay Level is Level-2, Initial Pay ₹ 19,900/- per month plus other
allowances as admissible.

Railway Technician Grade I Signal: Pay Level is Level-5, Initial Pay ₹ 29,200/-
per month plus other allowances as admissible.

Criteria 2024:
Age Limit (As on 01/07/2024): The Railway
Technician Posts Age Limit are
✔️ 18 - 36 years for Technician
Grade I Signal.
✔️
18 - 33 years for Technician Grade III.
✔️
Age Relaxation: 05 years for SC / ST, Plus 10 years for PwBD, for others as per
Govt rules.
Educational Qualifications:
For Technician Grade III:
(1) Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognized
institutions of NCVT/SCVT in relevant trade. (OR)
(2) Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in relevant
trade.
For Technician Grade I Signal:
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Degree in Physics / Electronics /
Computer Science / IT / Instrumentation (OR) B.Sc. in a combination of any sub
stream of basic streams of Physics / Electronics / Computer Science /
Information Technology / Instrumentation. (OR) 03 years Diploma in Engineering
(OR) Engineering Degree.

✅ RRB Technician Exam 2024
Details:
✔️ There will be a computer-based
test (CBT) with a total duration of 90 minutes and 100 questions.
✔️
There will be negative marking for wrong answers, with a deduction of one-third
of a mark for each wrong answer.
✔️
The marks will be normalized for tests held in multiple shifts.
✔️
The minimum pass percentage for eligibility is:
- UR
& EWS: 40%
- OBC
(NCL): 30%
- SC:
30%
- ST:
25%
✔️ These percentages may be
relaxed by 2% for PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) candidates in case
of shortage.
✔️
The marks scored in the CBT will be used to shortlist candidates for further
stages of the recruitment process.

Technician 2024:
✔️ Existing Paid
Candidates (Technician Grade-III):
Candidates who applied and paid for Cat. Nos. 2-18 of
CEN:02/2024 are treated as existing applicants.
They can access the modification window from 02/10/2024 to
16/10/2024 without additional fees.
Using their existing credentials, they can apply/modify applications for Cat.
Nos. 2-18 and access new categories (Cat. Nos. 19-40).
They can update educational qualifications, re-upload photographs/signatures,
and change preferences for all Technician Grade-III categories.
Submitting a new application will be treated as a multiple application
violation (Para 1.5 of CEN:02/2024).
✔️ New Candidates:
The New candidates include those who:
- Submitted
applications but didn’t pay for Technician-III of CEN:02/2024.
- Paid
for Cat. No. 1 but didn’t apply for Technician Grade-III of CEN:02/2024.
- Applied
for other CENs (other than CEN:02/2024).
- Haven’t
applied for any CEN in 2024.
New candidates can apply for Cat. Nos. 2-40 of Technician
Grade-III. Candidates with login credentials at rrbapply.gov.in can use them
for this application.
