TN MRB Assistant Surgeon Eligibility Criteria:
Age
Limit: (As on 01/07/2024)
Maximum
59 years for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBC&DNCs, BCs, BCMs.
Maximum 37 years for Others.
Educational
Qualifications:
(1)
MBBS Degree.
(2) Must be a registered practitioner within the meaning of the Madras Medical
Registration Act, 1914.
(3) Must have served as House Surgeon (CRRI) for a period of not less than 12
months.
(4) Candidates should have registered their name in the Tamil Nadu Medical Council on or
before 15th May 2024.
TN MRB Assistant Surgeon Selection Process:
The question paper in the subject “Medical Sciences” will be set in English
only and will contain 100 objective type questions. The Questions will be in
the standard of Under Graduate Level.
There will be no negative mark for the wrong answer and no oral Test
(Interview) for the post. Minimum Qualifying Marks: Tamil Eligibility Test -
40% SC / SCA / ST, 40% for Others and 30% for SC / SCA / ST, 35% for Others. No
Oral Test / Interview for Assistant Surgeon posts.

How to Apply TN MRB Assistant Surgeon Recruitment 2024:
- To Apply for TN MRB
Assistant Surgeon 2024, the candidates are first required to apply online
through Medical Services Recruitment Board's website (www.mrb.tn.gov.in)
from 24th April 2024.
- The Candidates are
required to upload their scanned copy of colour photograph and signature.
- A valid email ID
and mobile number are mandatory for registration. The email ID and the
provided mobile number should be kept active until the declaration of
results. MRB will send intimations regarding certificate verification and
other messages only through the registered email ID.
