Name of the Post:
- Graduate Apprentices
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices
Qualification:
Graduate Apprentices:
- Possession of a Degree in Engineering or Technology (Full time) from a Statutory University in the relevant discipline.
- Attainment of a Degree in Engineering or Technology (Full time) from an Institution authorized to confer such a degree by an Act of Parliament in the relevant discipline.
- Successful completion of the graduate examination conducted by Professional bodies (Full time), recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to the qualifications mentioned above.
- For Pharmacy: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:
- Holding a Diploma in Engineering or technology (Full time) from a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in the relevant discipline.
- Earning a Diploma in Engineering or Technology (Full time) from a University in the relevant discipline.
- Acquiring a Diploma in Engineering and Technology (Full time) from an Institution acknowledged by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to the qualifications mentioned above.
Other Eligibility:
- Eligible candidates must have successfully completed the qualifying exam in the years 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
- Candidates must not have attained a Post Graduate qualification.
- Candidates should not have participated in or currently be undergoing Apprenticeship Training in NLCIL or any other organization.
- Candidates must not possess one year or more of experience in any job.
- Candidates should be residents of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Karnataka, and the Union territories of Pondicherry and Lakshadweep.

NLC Apprentice Selection Process:
- The NCL Apprenticeship 2024 selection process will be determined by the percentage of marks achieved by candidates in their respective qualifying Diploma/ Degree programs.
